We work closely with clients to create the sustainability strategies they want, ensuring they are always prepared to the highest standards and incorporate creative design solutions.Our world-leading, and growing, project pipeline needs more talent to deliver its sustainable design potential – contact us today to find out more about this exciting opportunity to join our team.The RoleYou will play a key role in jointly leading the Sustainability team in Hong Kong, driving our projects and enhancing client relationships but with support and opportunity to identify and develop new business.The wider team will provide support and training as you assimilate into the team. We are resourced as a single team with workload shared across offices to provide commercial security and support recruitment.Working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will design, analyse, report and document Sustainability and Building Physics projects as well as present them to clients. You will work across a variety of sectors and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as we support the development of your professional skills.You will be jointly responsible for client management and project delivery for our key work streams:Sustainability design servicesNet zero carbon servicesCertification and complianceBuilding physics and parametric model servicesBuilding performance and operational energy optimisationHealth and wellbeing advice and guidanceSustainable Strategy and GovernanceThe SkillsThe Skills
  • Engineering, Architecture or built environment-related degree
  • Significant experience within Sustainability consulting, in the built environment sector
  • Experience in leading projects and junior staff and represent the business positively to design teams and client organisations. Experience with working with offices in other countries in the region is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of sustainability and building physics, particularly in relation to thermal comfort, passive design, compliance modelling and real operational energy assessments, Science Based Target setting.
  • An understanding of financial and resource management
  • Knowledge of dynamic simulation software, mechanical design, and Sustainability rating systems, planning issues, climate-based daylighting analysis, operational energy calculation and life cycle assessments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Report writing skills are essential.
  • Client liaison and relationship management throughout various stages of a project
