Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council”) is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council”) is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Project Officer:Job DescriptionSupporting the Head of Green Labelling to manage the ECF-funded project – Green Building Education and Capacity Building Programmes (ECF Project).
  • To plan and implement the ECF Project activities including:
  • Launching ceremony including event management, placing of advertorials and advertising using social media
  • Promotion talks at tertiary education institutes
  • Production of career promotion videos
  • Green building foundation certificate course
  • Micro-credential topical short courses
  • Green building tours
  • To administer surveys to measure the effectiveness of the programmes
  • To compile reports for reporting progress to the ECF fund
Requirements
  • A good University degree in a relevant subject
  • At least 4 years’ proven experience in organising similar activities. Experience in supervision of subordinates is preferable
  • Previous experience in video and graphic processing would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in ECF or similar environmental programmes would be an advantage
  • Outreaching personality and good interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese
