- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including payables, receivables, general ledger maintenance, and cash flow management.
- Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial disclosures.
- Conduct variance analysis and collaborate with the Financial Controller to refine forecasting and budgeting models that support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate and strengthen financial controls and processes, contributing to the development of long-term financial plans aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Review regulatory submissions such as the Financial Resources Returns to the SFC, and manage the year-end audit and tax filing processes.
- Guide and mentor the finance team, promoting a collaborative and accountable work environment that supports professional development.
- Take on additional tasks and projects as needed.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
- CPA is a must
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in accounting, audit, or within the financial services sector.
- Proven track record in team leadership and mentoring junior staff.
- Strong analytical mindset with deep understanding of financial principles and internal control frameworks.
- Familiarity with SUN Accounting System is a plus.
- Excellent command of English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua required.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word processing.
