This role is based in Hong Kong and requires expertise in banking and financial services.DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including payables, receivables, general ledger maintenance, and cash flow management.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial disclosures.
  • Conduct variance analysis and collaborate with the Financial Controller to refine forecasting and budgeting models that support strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate and strengthen financial controls and processes, contributing to the development of long-term financial plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Review regulatory submissions such as the Financial Resources Returns to the SFC, and manage the year-end audit and tax filing processes.
  • Guide and mentor the finance team, promoting a collaborative and accountable work environment that supports professional development.
  • Take on additional tasks and projects as needed.
ProfileQualifications & Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
  • CPA is a must
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in accounting, audit, or within the financial services sector.
  • Proven track record in team leadership and mentoring junior staff.
  • Strong analytical mindset with deep understanding of financial principles and internal control frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SUN Accounting System is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua required.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word processing.
  • Candidates who are immediately available will be given priority.
