We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team and make a meaningful impact.The Senior Programme Officer will be responsible for executing and managing social projects with a primary focus on the Career Empowerment Programme for People of Differences (PoDs)*. This role requires a dynamic individual who can coordinate supported employment services, build and maintain employer networks, and support programme planning, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement to deliver meaningful employment opportunities and social impact for PoDs.Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of social projects, particularly the PoDs Career Empowerment Programme, ensuring all activities are delivered effectively, on schedule, and meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate supported employment services, including individualized job matching, tailored skills training, and ongoing support to assist PoDs in securing and maintaining sustainable employment.
  • Develop and strengthen the employer network by actively engaging with inclusive employers, advocating for job opportunities, and facilitating partnerships to broaden employment options for PoDs.
  • Support the team in planning and executing programme activities, ensuring compliance with guidelines and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme progress by preparing reports and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with local and regional funding bodies to secure ongoing programme support.
  • Assist the Head of Programme Development with strategic initiatives and key projects.
  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to support DIDF’s fundraising events and other organizational initiatives.
  • Foster an inclusive and empowering environment for PoDs to achieve social and economic impact.

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, business, or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • 5 years of work experience, preferably in project management or supported employment services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of programme implementation and evaluation.
  • Passion for social impact and working with diverse communities.
