- To oversee maintenance operations, participate in and ensure capital projects & works complying with statutory regulations and company policies
- To ensure all maintenance be consistent and being properly executed with detailed documentations
- To lead subordinates; plan and liaise with contractors on repair and maintenance works and projects, and provide technical advice & support in daily operation
- Adhere to all safety and environmental programs and policies
- To maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
- To manage the quotation processes for the purchase of the department including sourcing qualified suppliers/contractors, preparing quotation documents and conducting quotation evaluation and recommendation
- Interface with equipment operators and maintenance staff to ascertain problems with equipment and reduce the risk of machinery breakdown by making machine improvement
- Review and monitor stock level of spare parts in engineering store
- Degree holder in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services/Manufacturing Engineering or related disciplines
- With 5 years relevant working experience for factory operation with 3 years at supervisor level
- Experience in paper product/printing industry is an advantage
- Self-motivated and work independently
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Oral & Written)
- Good knowledge in computer applications (Words, Excel, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Good project management, vender management, people management and problem-solving skills
- Good Leadership in building and developing teams, driving for results
- Able to read and interpret electrical and electronic drawings, pneumatic drawings, schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings to determine problem and make appropriate repairs is an advantage
- Candidate with less experience may be considered for appointment as Supervisor (Engineering)
