We are currently seeking a high-caliber individual to join our Sales team. This role is responsible for assisting the RDM in maintaining and developing business with target clients, as well as supporting internal operations in implementing and managing service performance.Route Development Specialist Asia PacificCOLLABORATE: your responsibilities
  • Assist the RDM to respond to Tenders and RFQ's (in coordination with RHO TM)
  • Assist the RDM to implement the SOP/IOP with internal operation to ensure the operation / billing / reporting / KPI / OMS/ incident cases are handled timely and in high quality.
  • Arrange regular internal meeting with KAM, Finance or branches to create / update the IOP for rate review, operation procedure review, payment review, incident review to ensure the requirements from clients are implemented properly.
  • To be the initial escalation contact to deal with customer inquiries or service complaints; ensure timely escalation of emergencies to operation management and the Manager.
  • Handle and follow up spot inquiry from clients to ensure the competitiveness of DACHSER quotation and solution.
  • Monitor the operation to complete all reports such as billing report, KPI report, volume/revenue report or other tailor-made reports with good data quality before sending to the customer and internal colleagues.
  • Support the preparation of service review meeting with ICL/ customers.
  • Independent processing of business processes, customer communication and meetings (during the absence of the RDM).
  • Build up and maintain the customer relationship for smooth operation and problem solving.
  • Ad-hoc tasks will be assigned on regular basis by the RDM and/or the Department head.
CONTRIBUTE: your qualifications
  • Bachelor degree holder or above with working experience in shipping / freight forwarding / logistics industry
  • At least 4 years’ operation experience in handling procurement procedures for both air freight and sea freight
  • Strongly sales oriented with excellent service quality
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, self-disciplined and diligent
  • Mature, able to work independently and under pressure
  • A good team player with good time management and can use resources to achieve goals and objectives within timeline
  • Good spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
