Project Title: RGC Senior Research Fellow Scheme project “Bottom-up Assessment
Reform: The Student-centred Assessment-driven Learning (SCADL) Platform”
[Appointment Period: 12 months]The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is seeking qualified and highly dedicated researchers
to provide research support to an RGC Senior Research Fellow Scheme project entitled “Bottom-up
Assessment Reform: The Student-centred Assessment-driven Learning (SCADL) Platform”. This 5-
year project aims to develop an online adaptive learning system for secondary schools. The
appointee will assist in duties such as conducting educational research (e.g., literature review, data
collection and analysis, report and journal drafting), liaising with participating schools, promoting the
projects, and performing any other duties as assigned. The initial appointment period will be 12
months and may be extended upon mutual agreement.For the post of Senior Research Assistant, applicants should hold a Master's degree in a related
discipline, plus at least one year of full-time post-master's work experience, or a doctoral degree.For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a
related discipline.Applicants must be able to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, and function effectively both
independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to learn
independently are essential. Proficiency in Cantonese will be an advantage.Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end
