Wealth and Personal Banking has four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the best of HSBC to our clients through a broad and relevant suite of wealth and retail banking capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & Digital Transformation.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Premier Business Manager.Principal Responsibilities
  • Achieve the performance expectation by development of referral source, intermediaries and internal business partnership
  • Manage referral activities to convert to new customer acquisition, in particular non-resident Chinese (NRC) segment
  • Contact customers for application appointments
  • Explain Premier/Premier Elite proposition
  • Acquiring New to Bank Customers
  • Provide support to enable customers fulfilling qualified Premier/Premier Elite status
  • Build strong client relationships since acquisition, obtain and maintain trustworthy relationship
  • Arrange/participate in relationship building client visits and events
  • Refer client to International Banking Manager, Insurance Specialist, Retail Sales or other stakeholders for financial needs
  • Effective use of tools and information to drive client service delivery and WPB performance
  • Build a high personal and corporate profile in the community in which you are based
  • Develop network of external professional contacts with the aim of acquiring new business, enhancing technical knowledge and promoting the brand
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Solid proven experience in customer experience/banking industry preferably in non-resident Chinese (NRC) segment
  • Proven ability to manage professional relationships with multiple internal/external parties and deliver results with multiple deadlines
  • Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills
  • Strong sales orientation and networking skills
  • Clear view on cross border policy and how to work with FCC, Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
  • Local regulatory & license requirements - job holder should possess valid licenses with accreditation on wealth management and qualification as required by country
  • Fluency in Mandarin, English and Cantonese
