The position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities and implement strong Travel and Tour sales and business development to ensure that they are delivered in line with business objectives. You are also required to build and implement Travel and Tour sales strategies from identified market sectors and achieve agreed volume and revenue targets in conjunction with the overall strategy. You will act as a main point of contact for business partners, close liaison with overseas travel agents’ handlings; work closely with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and develop joint promotion opportunities where appropriate.Job Descriptions:
- Develop forecasts and strategies to achieve sales at yield levels to ensure profitability.
- Actively seeks out major travel and tour partners and forms good partnerships with key agents and business partners.
- Ability to build and maintain trade partnership and handle a list of key accounts and ensure their needs are looked after.
- Build trade sales channels and develop framework to deliver revenue and volume delivery through third parties and trade channels of overseas travel and tour trade partners.
- Track, analyse and report on the performance of all sales activities, provide recommendations and/or propose new initiatives and product development opportunities in support of the company’s financial goals.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, markets and competitors’ activities, and serves as a business representative at major industry events, conferences or trade shows.
- Establish and foster partnerships with key partners both externally and internally. Efficient work collaboratively across internal key stakeholders.
- Process all travel trade contacts and new travel trade account application as per finance process.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university/ 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- At least 3-4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area
- Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Sales Manager
