We are seeking an experienced IT and Audio Visual ("AV") Systems Specialist to join our team as part of a new court building project. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the AV and IT systems for the new courtrooms.
As a key member of the project team, She/He will be responsible for overseeing site preparation activities, including architectural design of courtrooms, equipment rooms, server rooms, trunkings, and cabling. She/He will also work closely with contractors to ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered on time and within budget. In addition to her/his technical expertise, we are looking for someone who can effectively manage projects and lead a team towards achieving their goals.Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing an AV/IT system that meets the requirements of the Judiciary, including procuring necessary AV and IT equipment, installing, integrating, testing, and developing the system using different computer programming languages (Java, Python, MySQL), and programming AV devices to ensure seamless integration with the overall system.
- Overseeing site preparation activities, including architectural design of courtrooms, equipment rooms, server rooms, trunkings, and cabling.
- Implementing audio recording, transcription, and voice-to-text applications for efficient court proceedings.
- Developing web-based applications that integrate with the AV control systems, such as Biamp Canvas.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining the AV and IT systems to ensure optimal performance.Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0

Requirements - 5+ years of experience in implementing government building projects, including audio visual and IT facilities.
- Proven experience in site preparation, architectural design, and contractor management.
- Strong knowledge of AV device programming languages (e.g., AMX, Crestron).
- Experience with web-based application development and integrated AV control systems (e.g., Biamp Canvas).
- Proficiency in computer programming languages (Java, Python, MySQL).
- Excellent project management skills, with experience of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
. At least 5 years' experience in business intelligence/data mining (BDM);
. At least 5 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
. At least 4 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. 3 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP);
. At least 5 years' experience in site preparation (SPE);
. At least 5 years' experience in vendor management (VMG);
. 3 years' experience in tender preparation and administration (TPA) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
