Workspace Infrastructure Engineer (Citrix SME)

• Collaborate with the team to architect and deploy Workspace technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for VDI, XenApp, IGEL, and Netscaler technologies.
• Take ownership of building and deploying new Workspace technologies in the APAC region.
• Manage assigned projects, working closely with support teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and prioritize issues, driving a culture of root cause analysis.
• Work independently and as part of a team to resolve escalated Tier II issues.
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of Workspace technologies, collaborating with support teams and driving problem resolution.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to keep the organization technologically competitive.
• Continuously update documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Facilitate cross-training on Workspace Technologies within the team.
• Support application maintenance and development activities for Citrix infrastructure in a global 24/7 environment.
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships, including conducting vendor review and analysis.
• Participate in after-hours support rotation and implementation when required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in VDI engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of Netscaler, including build, design, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of ADM and its integration with Netscaler.
• Proficiency in GSLB, load balancing, SSL certs, and other standard Netscaler features.
• Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services and related technologies.
• Preferred experience with Windows 365 (CloudPC) and Citrix Access Gateway.
• Expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, both on-premises and in Citrix Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Service Now, UIPath, Power Automate, and PowerShell.
• Deep understanding of Active Directory, group policies, OUs, and DNS.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot L3/L2/L1 issues and handle single-user problems.
• Deep knowledge of VMware and Nutanix.
• Experience with supporting and integrating Citrix infrastructure components like FAS, Cloud connectors, and Storefront.
• Experience integrating Citrix with AWS and Azure.
• Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining thin clients using IGEL.
• Familiarity with migration to and from Citrix Cloud.
• Familiarity with advanced features such as firewall, EPA, and network design principles.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, and preferably Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including networking, collaboration, communication, time management, and adaptability.
• Team player with a willingness to contribute to projects of all sizes.
