About Our ClientOur client is a public organization with a sizable HR team in Hong Kong.Job DescriptionAs the Associate Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals. You will oversee workforce planning, budget, recruitment, and talent management, while also leading initiatives to enhance employee engagement and well-being. A key part of your role will involve ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership, and managing compensation, benefits, and performance evaluation systems. Additionally, you will drive organizational change and HR programs, while leading a team of HR professionals to ensure operational excellence across all HR functions.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will hold a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, and bring substantial experience in HR management and leadership roles within sizable commercial organizations. Experience working in a public organization or quasi-government body is highly desirable, adding valuable insight into the unique dynamics of the public sector. Demonstrated expertise in HR processes and policies within public organizations in Hong Kong is essential, as is a strong understanding of employment laws and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments, a strategic mindset capable of driving organizational change, and proficiency in managing compensation and benefits frameworks. A good level of spoken and written English & Chinese is essential.What's on Offer
