
Head of Operations - Pension Funds Firm

- Responsible for operational management including but not limited to management of service delivery departments, financial performance management, workflow of team and resources, ongoing client relationship with the Funds and department performance; be accountable for the current state service model and work in partnership with the Funds on the evolution of the service model and focus on the end-to-end member experience
- Provide senior leadership and direction to all Operational Managers and team members to ensure the development of a high-performing teams, including coaching and development, effective performance reviews and quality selection decisions and to promote a culture within the team encouraging collaboration and leveraging expertise across Fund Administration to deliver exceptional results
- Provide strategic focus that contribute to the development and implementation of the Fund Operations strategy in line with the group's core values and objectives and translate this strategy into operational plans and to lead technology improvement through active management of operations projects
- Ensure that the company's information security policies, processes and procedures are followed, review information security breaches, and periodically review information security requirements for relevant IT systems and processes, ensuring regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements are met, with adequate controls in place
- Bachelor's degree with major in business administration, risk management or relevant discipline
- At least 15+ years of working experience in operational management and service delivery within pension administration with strong senior leadership experience within pension funds/ insurance/ FI industry
- Strong knowledge and operational understanding of Hong Kong's Pensions legislation (ORSO and MPF)
- Exceptional leadership skills that produce high performing teams
- Strong client engagement and leadership skills with the ability to interact with C-level stakeholders with ease
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to communicate complex business ideas
- Outstanding written, presentation, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
