- Drive process standardization to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand service offerings and add value for clients.
- Continuously assess and refine workflows to improve quality and productivity.
- Build robust succession plans and foster skill development within the Client Accounting team.
- Effectively manage team resources and financials within the approved budget.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of scheme accounting reports and regulatory submissions.
- Coordinate with external auditors to secure audit sign-off for all administered schemes.
- Maintain oversight of reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Champion the adoption of innovative business processes that deliver measurable improvements.
- Navigate and manage organizational and technological changes impacting the operations teams.
- Reinforce the importance of strong client relationships and the critical nature of operational processes.
- Cultivate a culture of transparency and collaboration through regular team meetings and open communication.

- CPA qualified
- Big 4 is highly preferred
- Over 10 years of post-qualification experience in accounting.
- 5-10 years of senior leadership experience within the pensions or insurance sector.
- Proven track record in achieving financial targets, including Client Accounting EBITDA.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver responsibilities on time.
- Delivers high-quality, accurate reports with minimal managerial oversight.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Capable of conducting objective evaluations and offering actionable recommendations.
- Broad understanding of end-to-end business processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Effective oversight of unit pricing and crediting rate uploads.
- Confident in engaging with clients and internal stakeholders on operational matters.
- Committed to enhancing departmental efficiency through process optimization.
- Maintains high standards of client service and satisfaction.
- Ensures full compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including tax-effect accounting and unit pricing methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experienced with general ledger systems (PeopleSoft preferred).
- Able to work independently, manage pressure, and prioritize effectively.
- Strong grasp of pension administration frameworks, including relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
