Our client is a EU renown FMCG group and they are seeking an Regional Key Account Manager role based in HK.Partner management - relationships· Act as the primary point of contact for partners; building relationships, understanding needs, and recommending the most appropriate solutions.· Establish regular and trust-building two-way communication to foster a positive business relationship, encouraging the partner to seek revenue growth and opportunities.· Work cross-functionally with all relevant colleagues in region, Division and Group to ensure that market specific projects and plans are well understood, so that they can be landed efficiently and effectively.Customer proposition· Develop and maintain a deep understanding of markets, retail landscapes, brands / competitors, customers and regulations to support the definition of our proposition. Become ‘go to market expert’.· Thoroughly understand our target customer segments, missions and product portfolio, to ensure that our partner has total clarity on our customer proposition.Compliance and Operations
  • Establish a process for the on-boarding of partner colleagues such that they understand the brand in its entirety, and are equipped to execute great customer experience in all outlets / channels.
  • Ensure our partner operates to corporate principles, upholding regulatory, legislative and operational requirements and protecting the integrity of the brand.
  • Fully understand Agreement and Operating Manual, driving collaborative compliance to all elements to ensure impactful and differentiated presentation and operational excellence.
  • Work with the partner to define robust processes, including business continuity plans, to ensure the smooth on-going operations of the business.
  • Work closely with Learning & Development and trainers to ensure that partner colleagues (including Brand Advisors) are expertly trained and fully equipped to engage with customers, delivering excellent service and world class customer care.
Growth plans· Develop and align with our partner, robust and sustainable growth plans including outlet scale and financial targets.· Define implementation plans to support outlet, channel and product portfolio expansion that is delivered in time and on brand.· Co-ordinate an Annual Business Plan cycle and Quarterly Performance Review process to monitor delivery of objectives and champion a mindset of improvement.Trading and Performance· Leverage a keen commercial mindset and thorough understanding of markets, partner, competitors and consumers to identify opportunities.· Develop appropriate ‘sell in’ tools to deliver compelling narratives for the core proposition, and subsequent portfolio developments, to drive optimisation of all commercial opportunities.· Own the P&L budget and forecast for the partner markets, and lead the trading relationship fully understanding market context, trends, performance and future potential.· Manage the timely, weekly and monthly, financial reporting of the partner, to ensure the brand is fully aware of sales performance and stock position in line with Agreement obligations.· Work closely with the Commercial team, to manage the H&B selling price offered to the partner, ensuring the range is fairly priced with both an appropriate retail price architecture and cost prices / product margins that support long-term sustainability.· Manage weekly and monthly sales reporting, alongwith the collation of market insights, to ensure is fully aware of performance – recommend appropriate actions to proactively manage meeting of KPIs.· Work with supply chain colleagues to ensure that partner fully engages in monthly forecasting and ordering cycle, to ensure ability to fulfil demand is well planned and optimised, with ‘right product, in market, at right time, in full’.Requirment:Headline
  • 3+ years in an International account / partner / brand management or sales role.
  • 5+ years experience in retail or consumer brands sectors, with sector experience in health and wellness a plus.
Technical
  • Able to engage with partners with impact and influence.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability, while also being able to ‘see the big picture’.
  • Financially savvy, and capable of managing the P&L and business plan.
  • Knowledgeable in branding, marketing, merchandising – able to work closely with expert colleagues to deliver impactful initiatives.
  • Knowledgeable in supply chain – able to work closely with expert colleagues to build and maintain end-to-end process and excellent product availability.
  • Able to engage in operations, willing to ‘roll up sleeves’ and drive implementation and delivery to a high standard, creating excellent customer experiences.
  • Energetic and resilient, with high level of personal motivation.
  • Able to thrive in an ambiguous and changing environment.
  • Confident personality, comfortable in the role model of a brand ambassador.
