DEPARTMENT OF INTERACTIVE MEDIAExecutive Assistant / Executive Officer (23240411)The Department of Interactive Media offers the Bachelor of Communication (Honours) in Film (Animation and Media Arts Concentration) and Game Design and Animation programmes. The appointee is expected to provide secretarial and administrative support to the academic programs. The appointee will work in a friendly environment to provide support in the day-to-day operations of the Department, including but not limited to:
  • Department project management;
  • Student recruitment, admissions, and student record updating;
  • Maintaining records of curriculum changes;
  • Updating student study schedules; organising departmental activities/events such as workshops, seminars and study tours; keeping departmental meeting minutes;
  • Keeping records and compiling data and reports per University requirements; handling confidential records of students and staff;
  • Liaising with external parties;
  • Writing department reports; and
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:A bachelor’s degree or above with at least three years of relevant work experience or comparable competence; a good command of spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua; excellent English and Chinese writing skills; proficiency in computing applications, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), as well as Chinese and English word processing; self-motivated, pleasant, and able to work independently and in a team; and able to work under pressure and capable of being open.Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a writing test.The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years, commencing as soon as possible.
