Our client is a top tier International Law Firm with a well-established and growing corporate services team in Hong Kong. They are looking to add a new headcount due to an increase in their client portfolio in the region.This role will be full spectrum including handling statutory filing, maintaining records, assisting with board resolutions and ad hoc administrative tasks as required. You will be responsible for independently handling a portfolio of private Hong Kong companies, with some exposure to offshore jurisdictions as well. You will provide support in regards to your own portfolio, but will also have the chance to work on some ad hoc matters relating to listed companies. This is an excellent opportunity to get trained and work alongside some of the best-known partners in the region and advise on many complex, cross border and high-stakes transactions.What you will be doing:
  • Providing full spectrum of company secretarial services to a range of clients
  • Managing full set of routine company secretarial documents, preparation and filing of statutory documents for entity formation and management of companies in different jurisdictions
  • Maintaining administration and statutory records of clients, preparation of annual/interim reports, announcements, circulars, correspondences for clients
  • Handling incoming client enquiries and providing company secretarial advice
  • Providing day-to-day corporate secretarial support, completion of time sheets and perform other duties as assigned
You must have:
  • Degree in Legal Studies or Qualified Solicitor AND Qualified company secretary, member of ICSA / HKICS or equivalent
  • 3+ years of related working experience, ideally gained within professional firms, company secretary service providers or law firms
  • Strong communication skills, high attention-to-detail and ability to multi-task and to work in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Excellent command in both verbal and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous
