- Assess and validate customer needs and requirements, ensuring the delivery of promised solutions.
- Develop and strategize business solutions to optimize cost, transit time, and operational processes, including SOPs for distribution, airfreight, warehouse, and fulfillment services in the context of cross-border eCommerce.
- Formulate market entry plans and approaches for new products and emerging markets.
- Maintain existing major accounts through regular communication and proactive monitoring to foster customer intimacy.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to standardize the sales process and sales toolbox, facilitating effective sales pitches and onboarding procedures.
- Oversee the preparation of sales and transit time reports by the major account support executive, analyzing data by customer, product, and destination to identify improvement opportunities.
- Arrange monthly service review meetings with major account customers to communicate transit time performance and address service issues, agreeing on improvement actions.
- Create marketing content for daily use and events.
- Build and coordinate business solutions with cross-functional experts' support and involvement.
- Utilize NPS and KPI management systems in collaboration with IT and other departments.
- Coordinate and facilitate contractual agreements with vendors and customers, aligning them with planned or agreed-upon products and services.
- Represent Sales in meetings related to projects, business development, performance, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Provide support for overall major account activities, reporting to the Management Team through scheduled reports and meetings.
- Assist in preparing rate and service proposals for customers.
- Contribute to prospect building and generating new business opportunities.
- Preferably a degree holder in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales or account servicing within the transport logistics industry
- Proficient in cross-border eCommerce, including knowledge of e-platform operations and various components of the supply chain.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Possesses excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates a business mindset, flexibility, and a can-do attitude.
- Results-oriented with a strong drive to find solutions.
- Capable of working in teams within a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business trips to China or other overseas locations is required.
