Handle purchase requests from Business and following through the whole purchasing process to ensure products can be obtained on time according to business needs
Prepare documentation of relevant purchasing activities including price comparisons, tenders and market price surveys
Assist in coordination of all product and purchase specifications from respective user departments
Conduct interview as required by Head of Department / Procurement Manager with suppliers' representatives to obtain information, specifications and quotations and to negotiate to the best advantage for the properties in HK region
Follow up outstanding orders to ensure on-time delivery of required products
Maintain and update a library of catalogues, samples and price lists
We are looking for someone who has:
Bachelor Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related disciplines
1 year of relevant experience in sizable organization; preferably in the Hotel Industry
Experience in tender process and preparation of tender documents would be an advantage
Proactive, mature and self-confident with good business acumen
Strong analytical and communication skills
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and a basic knowledge for procurement system would be an advantage
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Procurement Assistant
