1. To carry out system analysis and design, system development, UAT support, production rollout and system documentation update of the projects.
2. To provide support on application enhancements and system interfaces with other IRD internal systems.
3. To monitor the outsourced contractors and liaise with external and internal parties for application support on system interfaces.
4. To conduct various testing on deliverables from the outsourced contractors.
5. To ensure the stability, availability, reliability, performance and security of the public online services and internal functions.

Requirements 1. At least 6 years of relevant experience in system infrastructure support and application development.
2. At least 6 years of relevant experience in supporting end users on web configuration which includes web browser settings, Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installation and the use of e-Certificate on various operating systems such as Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10 and Mac OS.
3. At least 6 years of relevant experience in support and maintenance of web application framework including Java application framework, JBoss application server, Tomcat application server, etc.
4. At least 6 years of relevant experience in website support and maintenance using Javascript and SQL language.
5. Hands-on experience in Java application design and development.
6. Hands-on experience in containers as a service platform.
7. Hands-on experience in supporting Internet-facing applications.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with outsourced service maintenance contractors and other internal parties for application maintenance support.
9. Hands-on development experience of taxation related systems is an advantage.
10. Ability to work independently and lead sub-ordinates to complete the assigned tasks.
11. Candidate should note that he / she will be required to work and perform on-site system support tasks in production site during non-office hours including after mid-night and public holidays occasionally.
12. Candidate should note that he / she will be required to assist supervisors and work with other project teams, vendors and/or end-users to complete the required tasks.
13. Candidate should note that he / she will be required to carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Technical Skills:
. At least 6 years' experience in Chinese Computing Standards, eg.HKSCS,Big5,Unicode (CCS);
. At least 6 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF);
. At least 6 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
. At least 6 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS);
. At least 6 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. At least 6 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
. At least 6 years' experience in Java Servlet Programming (JSP);
. At least 6 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);
. At least 6 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL);
. At least 6 years' experience in Tomcat Application Server (TOM);
. At least 6 years' experience in Web Services (WSV);
. At least 6 years' experience in XML (XML).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 6 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 6 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
