
IT Business Analyst, Investment Banking(12-Month Contract)

- Elicit and document business requirements from middle and back-office stakeholders, focusing on SWIFT-based processes for payment processing, messaging, and settlements related to Equity, FICC, and Bond products.
- Analyse and optimize SWIFT-related systems to ensure seamless integration with middle and back office functions, including trade settlement and reconciliation for equities, fixed income, currencies, commodities, and bonds.
- Serve as a bridge between business units and IT development teams, translating business needs into detailed technical specifications for system upgrades or new implementations.
- Support project management tasks, including scoping, planning, testing, and deployment of IT projects involving SWIFT messaging and back-office automation.
- Conduct data analysis to ensure SWIFT systems and product-related processes align with global banking standards and regulatory requirements specific to equities, fixed income, and bonds.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for SWIFT-related and product-specific implementations, ensuring alignment with workflows, and deliver training to end-users.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst in the financial services or investment banking sector, with solid experience in SWIFT messaging systems
- Experience in Equity, FICC, and Bond products would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools, data analysis platforms, banking systems, API integrations, cloud platforms, and agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Fluent in both Cantonese and English.
