The Chinese University of Hong Kong, in collaboration with MIT-RAISE, co-created the Al Education for Students Project. With funding support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, it aims to cultivate AI literacy and competencies in students, empowering them to learn more effectively, use technology more discerningly, innovate more creatively, hence better prepared for the future workplace and society. The Project engages schools to provide equitable access to quality AI learning for students in Hong Kong.Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree, preferably in Education or a related discipline; (ii) experience in qualitative and/or quantitative educational research, preferably in AI-related education; (iii) experience in analysing large datasets; (iv) a strong track record of high-quality research; (v) excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Cantonese being an advantage; and (vi) the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in teams.The appointee will be responsible for (a) developing measurement tools and conducting evaluations of the effectiveness of learning and teaching; (b) conducting qualitative and/or quantitative educational research; (c) performing literature reviews and preparing manuscripts; and (d) evaluating and participating in project events.Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing September 2025, renewable subject to mutual agreement.The University only accepts and considers applications submitted online for the post above via the CUHK career site.
