Job Description:The FXO PTS team is committed to developing a proprietary platform for FX Options risk and life cycle management. This is a hands-on engineering role reporting to the project lead, requiring close collaboration with the broader delivery team, product owner, and front office stakeholders to design and implement high-performance, scalable solutions.Qualifications:Required:
  • Proven experience developing front office applications in support of trading businesses.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, with hands-on experience using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of both relational and NoSQL database technologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic about collaborating within a global, culturally diverse team environment.
Preferred:
  • Full stack development experience.
  • Familiarity with observability tools for metrics collection and distributed tracing.
  • Exposure to multiple programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, C++, Scala, scripting languages).
  • Understanding of the FX Options market and related operational workflows.
  • Knowledge of risk management concepts, including risk measures, matrices, and topographies.
  • Experience integrating or working with third-party/vendor risk management systems.
