Our client, a multinational leading manufacturer, is seeking a proactive Assistant HR Manager to join their HR team in Hong Kong. This role offers a unique opportunity to support regional offices in Taiwan and Singapore, while driving operational excellence and employee engagement.About The Role
As an Assistant HR Manager, you will report to the Regional Head of HR and serve as the HR Business Partner for Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore offices. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR operational support, managing regional HRIS systems, and contributing to APAC-wide HR initiatives. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, cross-cultural communication, and a passion for people.What You'll Do
- Act as the primary HR contact for Taiwan and Singapore, supporting local teams with HR guidance and solutions
- Manage daily HR operations including recruitment, manpower planning, compensation & benefits, and personnel cost analysis
- Maintain and optimize HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and system optimization
- Organize staff engagement activities and social events to foster a positive work culture
- Support regional HR projects such as performance reviews, talent development, and employee feedback surveys
- Assist in ad-hoc HR assignments and initiatives as required
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience in a multinational environment
- Strong command of HRIS systems; experience with SuccessFactors is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across cultures and levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing
- Highly responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong numerical sense
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently across regions
