This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, manage high-impact reinsurance operations, and drive process automation initiatives across actuarial and finance functions.The Role
As an Assistant Manager, you will:1. Reinsurance Operations
  • Support the negotiation, placement, and renewal of reinsurance treaties.
  • Coordinate with brokers and reinsurers to ensure compliance and timely execution.
  • Manage reinsurance contracts, including premium calculations, claims recoveries, and settlements.
  • Maintain accurate treaty documentation in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and analyse reinsurance reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
2. Actuarial & Finance Automation
  • Collaborate with actuarial and finance teams to streamline reporting and data workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using Power BI, Alteryx, UiPath and other relevant tools.
  • Automate financial reconciliations, reinsurance settlements, and actuarial data preparation.
  • Support the maintenance of actuarial models and financial reporting templates to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field
  • 5–7 years’ experience in reinsurance, insurance, or financial services is preferred
  • Understanding of reinsurance treaty structures and their financial implications
  • Proficiency in Excel; VBA, Python, or SQL knowledge is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Alteryx and UiPath is highly preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or collaboratively
