  • Developing and implementing machine learning models (Python) to analyze large datasets.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering
  • Develop data pipelines and integrations.
  • Identifying trends and patterns to provide actionable business insights.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions.
  • Enhancing predictive analytics capabilities to improve decision-making processes.
  • Automating data pipelines and ensuring data integrity for analysis.
  • Communicating findings and presenting data visualizations to stakeholders.
  • Staying updated on the latest advancements in data science and applying them to the insurance industry.

The Successful ApplicantA successful Data Scientist should have:
  • A strong academic background in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years in data science and machine learning
  • Strong experience in developing data/ ML models from scratch
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data engineering tools (e.g., SQL, Spark, Airflow) and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Git & DevOps
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a cross- regional team environment.
  • Insurance background is a plus.
  • Excellence communication skills in Chinese and English with strong capability in business partnering.
