In a caring environment, the Centre provides a wide range of industry-specific skill training and support services for people with disabilities aged 15 or above to enhance their employability and support their integration into the society.Major Duties:
(a) To install, commission, operate and maintain PCs, servers and network equipment;
(b) To set up and prepare for practical training sessions and assist in demonstration, practical classes and projects;
(c) To provide IT-related technical support for staff and students;
(d) To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores, software licenses and consumables; and
(e) To assist in photo and video taking, photo and video editing, graphic design or other IT-related technical duties.Requirements:
(a) A recognised diploma or higher certificate in relevant discipline, or equivalent;
(b) At least 2 years’ relevant work experience;
(c) Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware and networking;
(d) Experience in using Windows PC and Mac would be an advantage;
(e) Ability to work independently and be a good team player;
(f) Good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(g) Candidates with knowledge / skills in the following areas would be an added advantage:
(i) Proficiency in various Microsoft and Adobe software;
(ii) Knowledge in computer graphic design and video editing; and
(iii) Knowledge in audio visual system operation.Notes:
(1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or outside centres.
