The Department of Surgery is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic researcher for a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin.Applicants should have (i) a Ph.D. degree obtained within five years of graduation or an equivalent qualification in laboratory research in Biology or Medicine; (ii) knowledge of molecular biology and cancer biology; (iii) a good publication record; (iv) strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills; and (v) the ability to work independently as well as within a team.The appointee will be responsible for (a) conducting research work on urological diseases, especially molecular investigation; (b) supervising and training research staff and postgraduate students; (c) preparing publications and grant proposals; and (d) performing other tasks as assigned.Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.The University only accepts and considers applications submitted online for the post above via the CUHK career site.
