- Monitor and manage the inflow of leads received through referral pathways (e.g. CRM, email, banking relationship managers).
- Contact referred clients promptly to introduce Bupa Global, confirm interest, and gather basic qualifying information (e.g. location, nationality, age, family size, needs, funding method).
- Conduct pre-screening to assess fit against Bupa’s international private medical insurance (IPMI) eligibility and appetite guidelines.
- Route qualified leads to the correct sales channel: Health Insurance Specialist (face-to-face) or Direct Sales Advisor (remote).
- Log all lead activity and contact outcomes accurately in Bupa CRM systems and ensure all required data is captured at point of triage.
- Flag complex, non-standard, or high-risk prospects to the Head of Partnership and Development for guidance or reassignment.
- Proactively support partner’s relationship managers by providing lead status updates and guidance on successful referrals.
- Support ongoing improvements in lead qualification scripts, CRM workflows, and triage processes to enhance efficiency.
- Assist with simple reporting or lead performance dashboards as required.
- Based in Bupa Global offices and/or Bupa Hong Kong head office, with flexibility for hybrid working.
- Engages clients and stakeholders via telephone, email, and CRM-integrated systems.
- Must work securely with personal and financial client data, complying with local regulations and Bupa Global’s data protection standards
- May operate across multiple time zones depending on market activity.
- Works closely with Direct Sales Advisors, Health Insurance Specialists, and Sales Support Admins to ensure a smooth client journey.
- Experience in lead qualification, pre-sales, telemarketing or client onboarding roles in insurance, financial services, or related sectors.
- Comfortable handling inbound and outbound communications with high net worth or professional clients.
- Confident in using CRM tools and data capture platforms.
- Experience working in a high-volume, quality-focused lead generation or sales environment.
- Familiarity with international insurance or high-value financial products is an advantage.
- Further education level academic progression or higher (required)
- Formal training in customer service, financial services, or data protection (preferred or provided on appointment)
- No formal insurance license required, but willingness to complete basic regulatory training (e.g., data handling, referral protocol) is essential
- Fluency in English required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin highly desirable depending on region
