  • Reporting to the Systems Analyst (Application Systems), the Analyst Programmer (Application Systems) will analyse, design, and implement IT systems and solutions to meet CMHHK’s business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in ERP system implementation, provide post-implementation support, track system performance, and conduct systems usage analysis;
  • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and quality assurance (QA);
  • Create technical documentation and to communicate system requirements, workflows, and technical details to developers and stakeholders;
  • Perform system assessments, feasibility studies, and gap analyses to identify system deficiencies, recommend enhancements, and streamline business workflows;
  • Record system configurations, data models, interface specifications, and system dependencies to support system maintenance, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer; and
  • Provide on-call support to urgent IT issues and any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related disciplines;
  • Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus;
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience in IT system development;
  • Experience in Chinese Medicine clinics, hospitals, or a healthcare setting, and experience with clinical sub-systems is an advantage;
  • Solid experience in system analysis, design, development, deployment, and support of ERP systems is a must;
  • Good understanding of the functioning and interactions between ERP’s Human Resource, Finance, and Supply Chain Management modules;
  • Solid experience with system modelling tools, requirements-gathering techniques, and system development methodologies;
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python), application frameworks, integration platforms, data management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server), and version control (e.g., Git);
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail; and
  • Good business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions.
