Head of R&D (120K)(Mechanical Engineering)

• Lead end-to-end new product development (NPD) from concept design to mass production.
• Research and analyze market trends in small home appliances, identifying opportunities for new features and innovations.
• Evaluate and recommend product upgrades and improvements for existing offerings.
• Organize feasibility studies for new projects and present findings to top management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Marketing) to ensure successful product launches.
• Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Travel frequently to the US and Germany for business meetings, supplier visits, and technology scouting.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of R&D experience in rechargeable & motor-driven products (e.g., small home appliances, power tools, consumer electronics).
• Strong technical knowledge in electronics, motor systems, and battery-powered devices.
• Creative, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset with a track record of successful product launches.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken) and proficient in Mandarin.
• Willingness to travel frequently (30-40% international travel).

• Candidates with less experience (8+ years) may be considered for the R&D Engineering Manager role.
