We are working across multiple role types and subject matter specialisms, you can access all roles by searching #purposeproject on our Job Search page.Manager, Grant Management (education)Reporting into the team Lead, the Grant Manager will be responsible for conducting research, analysing data, and reporting findings related to the education sector - education programs, scholarship and fellowship giving, as well as managing the grant vetting and giving process.Responsibilities:
  • Conducting research (literature reviews, sector data analysis, in-house or externally managed surveys and focus groups) related to education.
  • Supporting research and data analysis studies, preparing reports and findings, and managing data and records.
  • Supporting the donation request management process and carrying out grant making functions: setting tasks, deliverables, schedules and resources, and working on progress reports and project publications.
  • Monitoring the approved projects to ensure that they are implemented and completed according to schedule, intended output and within the original agreed scope and budget.
  • Drafting articles and speeches for publicity events, supporting public relations and media initiatives.
  • Liaising with potential external partners and building relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience in research or grant management.
  • Experience working within NGO's, Think Tanks - policy research entities, or social service settings.
  • Good project management experience, and a strong goal-oriented style
  • Strong organisation skills with high self-motivation and exceptional attention to details
  • Knowledge of analytical skills, proactive idea creation style and passionate in education related topics.
  • Excellent speaking and writing proficiency in Chinese and English, heavy reporting required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
