The candidate is responsible for managing all engineering/maintenance operations to ensure regulatory requirements are maintained, including the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. The candidate is also accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation.Major Functions
  • Supervise the day to day operations of Engineering
  • Assist in managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems
  • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities in order to determine the type of work required
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Assist in effectively planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Building Services Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 6 years’ experience in property management, experience in hotel industry is preferred
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD/MS Office/ Transcendent is preferred
  • MBSOMES / MHKIE / MCIBSE
  • Pro-active, detail-minded, positive attitude and willing to take up challenges
  • Good communication in English and Cantonese
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Chief Engineer
