Project Assistant II (carrying the job title of ‘Assistant Officer’), Master of Science in Management (MiM) Programme
The Office of the MiM Programme under the Department of Management is now looking for a high calibre candidate to join the team. The appointee will work with a dynamic team leading the rapid development of the Programme.The appointee will mainly be responsible for (a) assisting in student admissions, including vetting and validating applications, verifying academic qualifications, managing student records, and answering applicants’ enquiries; (b) providing support for programme activities and events; (c) handling various administrative duties related to postgraduate studies, such as sending eDMs, booking classrooms, and preparing booklets, posters, PPTs, and other materials; (d) managing the daily operations of the programme office, including handling mail, performing file management, procuring office equipment and stationery, and maintaining stock records of fixed assets; and (e) performing any other duties as assigned.Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education, (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (iii) fast and accurate Chinese and English typing skill; (iv) proficiency in computer applications (such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint); (v) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (vi) the ability to work independently and as a team member with a strong sense of responsibility; and (vii) a self-motivated work attitude and attentiveness to details.
