Provide patient care deliver and basic patient intervention according to nurses’ instruction.2. Assist the nurses to admit patient in ward or clinic and care of patient in department.3. Prepare patients and equipment for clinical procedures and investigations.4. Provide patient education according to protocol.5. Perform routine observation of patients, e.g. taking body temperature and blood pressure, etc.6. Escort patients for examination or treatment.7. Assist doctors or nurses to perform procedure or investigation in ward/clinic/outreach visit.8. Assist in clinical audit, research, patient education, etc.9. Check and prepare medical consumables and materials for examinations, restock after use, and assist in store inventory receiving and delivery.10. To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.Requirements:1. Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent (see Remark);2. Completion of the structured departmental training (see Remark).Preferable Attributes:1. Having relevant patient care training such as Health Care Assistant certificate / Care-related Support Worker Training certificate / certificate of phlebotomist training or working experience in a health care setting.2. Pleasant and mature personality, interested in working in hospital environment and with patients.3. Basic PC skills and knowledge in common MS office applications as well as on mobile app application.4. Relevant experience in customer service.5. Perform general clerical and reception duties, including patient data entry and other data records.6. With working experience in psychiatric setting/knowledge of ‘Recovery concept’ in mental health field/experience in organizing board games/health activities for psychiatric patients is preferred.7. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements (2), if find suitable, will be employed to undergo at least 6 months’ on the job training including the structured departmental training. Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.3.
