- Formulate, develop and execute external affairs communications strategies across different media channels/platforms to deliver a positive narrative and/or positive image of the Institution
- Collaboration with cross-functional team to ensure communication strategies are impactful and aligned with Organization's direction and objectives
- Develop and arranged media related activities and materials including press conference, press release, briefings
- Responsible in media training and preparations for senior executives
- Manage issues and crisis management and to ensure its effectively communicated and solved
- Research on the latest policies related to the organization to ensure a proactive media communication & engagement approach
- Supervise and manage the team providing guidance, support, and professional development to ensure a productive and collaborate work environment to achieve the organization's objectives
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years experience in external communications focusing on media and/or external affairs
- Experience in a (semi) government, education institute and/or conglomerate environment would be preferred
- Experience in leading a team is a must
- Strong leadership skills, communications and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong in copy writing skills
- Experience in managing and building effective relationships with media
- Strong team player, relationship-oriented and detail minded
- Results driven, strong project management skills and creative
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written in both English and Chinese
