- Lead the educational, research, scholarly, and public engagement activities of the School, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and goals of the College.
- Effectively manage the School's resources to support its growth and enhance its academic offerings, including the development of new undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and short courses that address global trends and societal needs.
- Collaborate with the President and Vice Presidents to advance the university's vision by developing and implementing an academic business plan and strategic initiatives that promote the growth and enhancement of the School of Management and the College.
- Enhance the research culture and output of the School by increasing visibility and fostering local and international collaborations through interdisciplinary and impactful research, as well as organising conferences.
- Oversee School's academic activities, including programme development and validation, quality assurance, examination and assessment processes, student recruitment, and initiatives for whole-person development.
- Engage in professional service to external organisations and provide public services to the community, promoting the College's mission while strengthening its local and international standing and networks.
- A PhD or Professional Doctorate in Management or a relevant discipline.
- Significant experience in the tertiary education sector, particularly in programme development, enhancement, student recruitment, and leadership.
- Proven track record in research leadership, with the ability to build and nurture collaborative research teams, mentor academic staff to achieve high-quality outcomes, and attract and secure external research funding while managing complex research projects and budgets.
- Demonstrated publication record in high-impact journals within the relevant discipline, preferably with international recognition.
- Demonstrated success in establishing industry partnerships at local, regional, and international levels.
