- Devising and maintaining office systems to deal efficiently with paper flow
- Any other tasks as negotiated with the Head of Primary
- Timetabling
- Standing in for the Head of Primary and making decisions where appropriate
- Liaising with parents, suppliers and other staff
- Organising and attending meetings, and ensuring the Head of Primary is well-prepared
- Carrying out background research and presenting findings
- Dealing with correspondence, writing letters and taking dictation and minutes
- Dealing with incoming emails, faxes and post
- Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments
- Welcoming and looking after visitors
- Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
- Communication with stakeholders
- Tertiary education in Secretarial or Office Administration course or equivalent
- 3-4 of years secretarial or administrative support experience
- Previously working in a school would be an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Other Microsoft applications
- Ability to compose routine letters following established standards
- Applies competent office administration skills
- Excellent interpersonal & organisational skills
- Fluency in oral and written English, and knowledge of Cantonese is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to contribute to a team and work independently & follow up cases
