- Lead the end-to-end execution of multiple infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on-premises infrastructure initiatives, including:
- Server and storage hardware refresh projects
- Data Center consolidation and migration
- Infrastructure upgrades and modernization
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on support throughout the project lifecycle-from planning and design to implementation and post-deployment support.
- Conduct system assessments, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Ensure compliance with security, risk, and governance standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure consulting or system engineering roles, with a focus on Open Systems (e.g., UNIX/Linux environments).
- Proven experience in managing and delivering complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux systems, including system administration, scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS).
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of data center operations, including power, cooling, and rack management.
- Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools and performance analysis.
- Understanding of ITIL practices and change management processes.
