Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer / Part-time Lecturer (holding the functional titles of Trainer / Part-time Trainer) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 532583). The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible, for a one-year temporary contract or a two-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. Plan and implement training programmes on End-of-Life Care (EoLC) for:
Healthcare and social care professionals
Family caregivers and volunteers
The general public
Provide coaching and capacity-building support in an EoLC project for NGOs in Hong Kong serving persons with disabilities.
Target trainees include NGO management, professionals, front-line staff, and volunteers.
Participate in practice-based research and educational innovation related to EoLC.
Assist the evaluation of the effectiveness of training and educational programmes.
Keep abreast of update evidence-based training content on EoLC aligned with the project's objectives.
Support other training and project-related activities as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Master's degree or above in Social Work, Public Health, Mental Health, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Counseling, Nursing, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in clinical practice in EoLC or disability services.
Experience or strong interest in teaching/training is preferred, especially in related areas such as:
Non-profit management
Social services management
Organizational development
Social and public administration
