Our client, a rapidly expanding life insurance company in Hong Kong, is building a cutting-edge digital division. They are seeking a Digital Platform Owner to lead the transformation of Point of Sales (POS) and service journeys, driving digitization and delivering seamless, scalable solutions that enhance consultant and customer experiences.This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of insurance distribution by optimizing digital platforms and aligning business needs with technology capabilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead POS Digitization : Spearhead the end-to-end digital transformation of consultant sales, onboarding, and servicing processes across multiple distribution channels.
  • Define and Prioritize : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business needs, translate them into functional requirements and user stories, and prioritize backlog items to align with strategic goals.
  • Roadmap Ownership : Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap focused on digital POS capabilities and platform enhancements.
  • Governance & Quality : Manage change requests, ensure adherence to governance standards, and maintain high-quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Partner with internal teams, IT, and external vendors to deliver impactful digital solutions that support business growth.
  • Training & Adoption : Lead end-user training and support initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new POS tools and digital processes.
  • Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for innovation and present data-driven recommendations to improve platform performance and user experience.
  • OKRs & Impact Tracking : Define and monitor objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure the success of delivered solutions.
Key Requirements:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the life insurance industry, with a strong focus on digital product ownership, POS systems, or business analysis.
  • Proven success in digitizing consultant sales and service workflows.
  • Strong understanding of POS platforms and life insurance operations.
  • Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies; Agile certification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Experience in backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and change management.
