Date of Issue:31 July 2025Application Deadline:13 August 2025Vacancy Notification Circular No. HKWCP250701Position:Temporary Full-time PharmacistRank:PharmacistDepartment/ Hospital /Cluster:Department of Pharmacy, Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong West ClusterPay:HK$56,450 (HGPS Point 25) per monthKey Responsibilities:1.Perform and supervise the medication-use process.2.Direct the development, implementation and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services.3.Plan, develop and deliver educational/training and development programs for pharmacy staff and other health professionals.4.Assist the Department Manager/Senior Pharmacist in the development and operation of pharmaceutical service.Entry Requirements:1.A Certificate of Registration and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, Hong Kong.2.4 years’ post-registration experience as a pharmacist (Note a) or 2 years’ post-registration experience as a pharmacist (Note a) plus a relevant postgraduate professional degree or equivalent.Notes:(a) Experience acquired as a pharmacist after registration with recognised overseas registration authorities but prior to registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong can also be accepted as post-registration experience.Preferable Attributes / Exposure:1.A relevant postgraduate professional degree or equivalent.2.Experience as a hospital pharmacist.3.Good communication skills.4.Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.5.Knowledge in computer systems.6.Evidence of recent continuous professional developmentRemarks:1.Please refer to for “Notes to Applicants”.2.Appointment will be offered on temporary terms for a period 6-12 months.Please submit on-line application on or before 13 August 2025.
