Posting Date: 2025-09-02Green Tomato LimitedAI Transformation ManagerYou will do the following in this job:Lead AI Project & Resource ManagementOversee the end-to-end management of AI project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring objectives are met within constraints.Provide strong leadership for the AI team, guiding task allocation, resolving conflicts, and managing multiple AI initiatives simultaneously.Proactively identify and mitigate risks specific to AI projects, including data quality, model performance, and ethical considerations.Drive AI Strategy & CommunicationArticulate the AI vision, strategy, and progress to all stakeholders, simplifying complex AI concepts for effective cross-functional collaboration.Act as the primary liaison between business, clients, and AI development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.Ensure AI initiatives meet business objectives and deliver value.Facilitate Agile AI Development & Team CoachingServe as the Scrum Master for AI development teams, facilitating all Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).Remove impediments, foster self-organization, and coach the team on Agile principles and best practices tailored for AI/ML.Work closely with product owners to ensure a clear, prioritized AI product backlog that drives iterative development.Ensure Technical Acumen & IntegrationPossess a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data science methodologies, and AI system architecture.Manage integration efforts with third-party AI platforms and data sources, assessing impacts and proposing technical solutions.Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution in AI projects.Foster Team Growth & CollaborationManage and mentor AI team members, fostering their professional growth and creating a highly collaborative and productive work environment.Optimize resource allocation within the AI team and identify high-potential individuals for further development.Build strong relationships and ensure effective teamwork across the AI department and with other functions.Drive Business Value & Strategic AlignmentMaintain a strong business mindset, aligning AI initiatives with ABC Tech's strategic goals and business drivers.Provide insights and recommendations to clients and stakeholders at various levels, ensuring AI solutions contribute directly to business objectives.Manage the elicitation of precise requirements for AI projects, ensuring alignment with user expectations and strategic goals.Oversee Financial Management & Budget AdherenceManage budgets for AI initiatives, including cost estimation for model training, infrastructure, and operational expenses.Monitor multiple AI project financials, track expenses, and report on budget variances to clients and senior management.Propose strategic recommendations to ensure AI projects are delivered efficiently and within financial constraints.Promote Continuous Learning & AI InnovationStay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging AI technologies, and advancements in machine learning.Champion a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the AI team, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and professional certifications.Apply the latest industry trends to uplift the team's capabilities and outputs.We are hiring talent like you:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline. Master's degree is a strong plus.Proficiency in business requirements elicitation6+ years experiences in project management, with strong experiences specifically managing AI/ML projects or AI transformation initiatives, systems, and workflow. Previous experience in Agile project management is highly preferred.2-3 years in a managerial role, with a proven track record of managing an AI team and implementing AI tools and techniques within organisations.Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) is required, especially for iterative AI/ML development cycles.AI/ML Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, data science pipelines, and the AI model lifecycle. Familiarity with common AI/ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud AI services (e.g. AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform) is a significant advantage.Certifications: PMP, CSM, or AI-specific project management certifications are highly preferred.Good understanding of requirements management methodologies, with an emphasis on defining requirements for AI solutions.Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.Strong communication, facilitation skills, and problem solving skills with critical thinking.Highly self-motivated and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentLanguage Proficiency: Excellent in written and spoken English, Spoken Putonghua.
