We are seeking a dynamic individual as a Senior Manager to lead the data science team to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes, improving test/screening capability of testers, improving quality, enable design characterization and enhancing operational efficiency.This role integrates strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to turn data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making within the Head business environment.Responsibilities:Leadership and Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing data science team.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Balances immediate need with long-term objectives.Proactively anticipate process and design changes and adapt strategies accordingly.Allocate resources efficiently to support team and project needs.Data Analytics and ModelingDevelop and implement advanced data models to solve complex manufacturing challenges.Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and AI techniques to optimize product quality, processes improvement and customer feedback/complain.Develop BI tool to analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, forecast trends, and drive decision-making.Develop predictive maintenance models to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.Strategic Planning, Execution and ImprovementsDefine and execute the data science strategy aligned with Product, Process and QA goals.Lead and manage data science projects from conception through to implementation and evaluation.Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality through data-driven insights.Implement process monitoring and control systems using real-time data analytics.Collaborate with IT to ensure the availability of necessary data infrastructure and tools.Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, QA, and other departments to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions.Communicate complex data science concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders effectively.Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in data science and analytics, and identifying opportunities to integrate new technologies and methodologies into the organization’s practices.Requirements:Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.Strong capability in Data science with statistics and Inference engineering focus in past experience.8+ years in data science or machine learning, with 5+ years in a managerial role.Experience in high-tech and volume manufacturing companies is strongly preferred.Proficient in statistical analysis, machine learning, deep learning, data modeling, and model optimization.Hands-on experience with programming and data analysis languages such as Python, R, and SQL.Practical knowledge of prompt engineering for LLMs and Generative AI applications.Proficient with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and able to build dashboards.Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and database management is a plus.Demonstrates strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, effectively facilitating open dialogue and collaboration between business and technical stakeholders.Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical thinking abilities.What we offer:Double PayDiscretionary Bonus5-Day Work Week12-19 Days Annual LeavePRC Station AllowancePRC Company DormitoryCompany Shuttle Bus between HK & PRC PlantGroup Medical & Dental Benefits for Spouse & ChildrenGroup Life InsuranceWorking Location: Nancheng, Dongguan 東莞南城Application MethodInterested parties please click "Quick Apply" to submit your resume along with your availability and expected salary.All personal data collected will be used for recruitment purpose only.
