Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.Job Description:ResponsibilitiesPar and Dividend Management:Ongoing management of participating business in accordance with various scheme documents where applicable, and in compliance with applicable Participating Insurance Policy, Operating Guidelines, as well as local regulationsRegular determination of asset shares and policy illustration for inforce participating businessReview and recommend policy dividend, reversionary bonus and terminal bonus decisionsReview and recommend interest crediting rates on amounts on deposits and policy loan interest rate decisionsEngage in the business decision process with the responsibility to ensure participating policyholder’s interest is protectedProduct Oversight:Provide oversight to product pricing on behalf of the CRO&CA of the CompanyEngage in various stages of product/pricing development process and advise on key issues and risksOversee sales illustrations to ensure compliance with relevant regulationsRisk-based Capital (RBC) Reporting:Manage and review the regulatory submission under the RBC regimeAnalyze the drivers underlying the RBC financial result and generate business insightsLiaise with other functions on business issues as the RBC subject matter expertOptimization and Change Management:Lead the implementation and change management in response to the regulatory changes on participating fund management and RBC regimeEngage in the consultation process of regulatory changes on behalf of the CompanyManage initiatives to optimize the participating fund management and RBC reporting processRequirements:Qualified actuary FSA, FCIA, FIA, FIAA or equivalentAt least 12 years of working experience in the life insurance sectorRelevant experience in participating fund management, product management and regulatory reportingTechnically solid with relevant experience in participating fund management, product management and regulatory reportingExcellent planning and change management skillsUnderstand the business and be able to drive decisions with business and financial acumenAbility to manage stakeholders from various functions with diverse perspectivesAbility to communicate confidently to a wide variety of audiences at all organization levelsAbility to develop people through coaching, feedback and stretch assignmentsWe offer 5-day work, attractive salary, MPF, group life and group medical insurance; and excellent career development opportunities to the right candidate.We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
