Head of Securities Operations - Foreign Securities Firm

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team in back-office functions, including Equities settlement, Corporate Actions (Fixed Income and Equities), Cash Management, and Account Services, while reporting to the Head of Operations HK.
Improve team productivity and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Implement and promote standardized operational procedures and processes.
Enhance team dynamics and engagement.
Drive operational excellence.
Align the Operations Department with the firm's strategic goals.
Collaborate with business leaders on new product development.
Attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Manage and oversee the department's expense budget.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to local, regional, and global projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
20+ years of experience in Operations or related areas.
At least 5 years as Head of Settlement or similar leadership roles.
Deep understanding of the Equities/Fixed Income product life cycle.
Expertise in settlements and corporate actions workflows (critical requirement).
Fluent in Cantonese and English.
