(1) To provide project support to HKPF mission critical projects
(2) To provide advice, support and coordination in different stages of active projects and existing systems
(3) To manage the infrastructure design, setup, implementation, administration, performance and support for mission-critical systems, including network switch, SAN, FusionCompute and ZStack, Hypervisor, Linux, backup appliances, NPU/GPU AI servers and load balancer, etc.
(4) To manage and coordinate with IT contractors and related parties in supporting new projects and existing systems
(5) To provide on-call support to tackle urgent system and application incidents for the supported systemsYrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0
Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0
Requirements (1) Solid experience in system implementation and maintenance support
(2) Solid experience in supporting Linux, SAN and TCP/IP Network
(3) Good command of both written and spoken English is required
(4) Solid experience in supporting Chinese software/hardware in particular hypervisor, network switch, backup appliance and load balancer is preferred
(5) Security vetting by HKPF is required
Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 4 years' experience in TCP/IP (TCP);
. At least 3 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO);
. At least 3 years' experience in Networking (NET);
. At least 3 years' experience in Red Hat Advanced Server (RHS);
. At least 3 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN);
. At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 3 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS);
. At least 3 years' experience in vendor management (VMG).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
