- Build sound business cases and growth initiatives for management approval and channel buy-in
- Work with channels/ distributions in any strategy projects and implement agreed initiatives to support business growth
- Optimize the capacity in distribution network to drive profitability and quality performance
- Delivering the INHK / Distribution agenda and will deliver high-quality products that align with desirable business outcomes
- Interface with Head of Product, Head of Digital, Head of Customer Strategy and RBWM Distribution heads on delivery of appropriate sales solutions according to product proposition
- Interface with Group and 2LOD teams such as compliance, legal, wealth risk, group insurance, group wealth, group retail, etc. to make sure the business models and sales process are compliant with internal governance and regulatory requirements
- Independently drive towards achievement of profitability in the sale of associated insurance products
- Support other team members from insurance distribution perspective and encourage team work
- Mobilize resources, resolve conflicts and collaborate across teams and functions to achieve business goals
- Enforce good planning, proactive and delivery on time culture to team members
- Provide clear prioritization of business and team initiatives and regular team communication to achieve team efficiency and best business outcome
- Initiate actions to boost team spirit, morale, work life balance
- Proactively interact with Insurance teams to ensure the needs of the business are met, while at the same time, understanding business opportunities and challenge
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment
- Ability to work cross-border in a multi-national environment
- Ability to provide distribution support creatively across markets of varying size, sophistication, and capability levels, while ensuring time spent achieves ROI requirement for global team
- Understand and work within varying legal and compliance requirements for insurance sales distribution
- Work within brand, fairness filter requirements
