- Work closely with the internal team to ensure a seamless transition of newly signed merchants to the Merchant Success team;
- Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding programme to drive the activation of merchants and related payment services;
- Identify new partnership opportunities and lead negotiations for new agreements;
- Drive partner sales and business development activities to achieve and exceed revenue targets;
- Monitor and optimize the activation rate of merchants, ensuring they are set up for success and able to start processing transactions;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants, addressing inquires, resolving issues and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction;
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to align on strategic objectives, identify growth opportunities and address any concerns raised by the merchants;
- Continuously monitor merchant performance and provide actionable insights to enhance the competitiveness of the offer and support;
- Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices to provide valuable insights and recommendations;
- Identify new partnership opportunities and lead negotiations for new agreements; and
- Provide training and support to partners to enhance their understanding of KPay's products and services.
- 3-5 years of experience in professional experience in business development and/or account management, preferably in the payment industry;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and committed to understanding merchant needs;
- Capable of developing and maintaining trusting connections with clients and partners in order to increase sales potential and promote long-term partnerships;
- Exceptional analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends;
- Creative, passionate, interested in the startup company and eager to learn;
- Highly motivated and determined with a hands-on mentality, with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese; and
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create professional presentations and reports.
