- Manage the IT infrastructure work stream, working with both internal IT teams and external vendors. Ensure the effective delivery of IT infrastructure and communication services by adhering to procurement and outsourcing policies.
- Guide teams and business partners in using ITIL methodology for change, incident, problem, and knowledge management to meet and exceed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with business departments to understand their IT needs and coordinate with partners to deliver services that support business operations and customer needs.
- Create and maintain processes, procedures, and guidelines for managing key infrastructure components, including data centers, hardware, virtual environments (VM), databases, network systems, and security systems.
- Work with the Information Security team to ensure infrastructure operations comply with security standards and policies, including Data Loss Prevention and Access Control.
- Evaluate, develop specifications for, and recommend new or enhanced systems, including detailed cost estimations.
- Act as the primary point of contact between technical staff, managers, users, and vendors for service requests, standards, and security matters.
- Develop and regularly test disaster recovery plans to ensure critical systems can be restored within agreed-upon timeline.
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT, with a focus on vendor management and diverse technical roles (e.g., installation, support, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
- Strong understanding of multiple IT disciplines, including IT Service Management, IT Operations & Support, Systems Maintenance, Systems Integration, and Applications Development.
- Hands-on experience with in IBM AS400 OS, Microsoft (Server, Active Directory, SCOM, SQL), Red Hat Linux/CentOS, Open Source Frameworks, System Deployment, Desktop/laptop HW and OS, Web Server Optimization and Security, VMWare, Citrix, Web Gateway, WAN and Wireless Network, Telephony PABX, SAN, or MobileIron.
- Strong understanding and practical experience in Information Technology and Cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with IT process and governance frameworks like CobiT, ISO 27001, or ITIL.
